ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: The pandemic of the new coronavirus has culminated in a scientific race to seek knowledge about this virus and its treatments, vaccines and preventive strategies, in order to reduce its impact on healthcare and economics worldwide. Hence, it is important to recognize the efforts of researchers who are at the forefront of investigations relating to the new coronavirus. OBJECTIVE: The present study was carried out with the aim of analyzing the world scientific production relating to COVID-19. DESIGN AND SETTING: Exploratory and descriptive bibliometric study conducted in the city of Teresina (PI), Brazil. METHOD: ISI Web of Knowledge/Web of Science (WOS) was chosen as the database. Data-gathering was carried out in May 2020. The data analysis was performed using the HistCiteTM software, version 9.8.24, and the VOSviewer bibliometric analysis software, version 1.6.8. RESULTS: 2,625 published papers that included descriptors within the scope of this investigation were identified. These articles were published in 859 different journals that are indexed in WOS, by 9,791 authors who were linked to 3,365 research institutions, located in 105 countries. CONCLUSION: Ascertaining scientific production through a bibliometric analysis is important in order to guide researchers on what has already been produced and what is being researched, so as to be able to address gaps in knowledge through future research.

ABSTRACT

O objetivo desta pesquisa do tipo revisão sistemática foi analisar a produção do conhecimento sobre o Estágio Curricular Supervisionado na formação de professores de Educação Física. Constatou-se que: há predomínio das publicações em periódicos B1 e B2 (48,7%); a produção na área é recente, com maior quantidade de publicações entre 2011- 2015 (76,9%); os artigos classificados como de Intervenção foram os mais publicados (51,3%); a temática Formação foi a que teve maior incidência (48,7%); quanto ao tipo de pesquisa, os Estudos de Caso foram predominantes (41%); as análises Qualitativas são amplamente mais utilizadas (89,8%); Entrevistas (25,6%) e Questionários (23,1%) foram os Instrumentos mais empregados. Conclui-se que houve aumento na produção do conhecimento sobre essa temática nos últimos anos, contudo, ressalta-se a importância do fortalecimento das produções, objetivando acesso a periódicos mais bem classificados no sistema de avaliação


This systematic review looks into knowledge production about supervised curricular practicum in training of Physical Education teachers. Publications in B1 and B2 journals (48.7%) prevailed. Production in the area is recent and most works were published between 2011 and 2015 (76.9%). Articles categorized as 'intervention' were published most often (51.3%). 'Education' was the topic with highest occurrence (48.7%). Case studies prevailed (41%) among research types and qualitative analyses were adopted much more often than others (89.8%). Interviews (25.6%) and questionnaires (23.1%) were the most often applied instruments. Production of knowledge about the topic in recent years has increased, but it should be strengthened to access better classified journals in the evaluation system


Esta revisión sistemática analizó la producción del conocimiento sobre la Práctica Curricular Supervisada en la formación de profesores de Educación Física. Se constató que: predominan las publicaciones en periódicos B1 y B2 (48,7%); la producción en el área es reciente, con mayor cantidad de publicaciones entre 2011 y 2015 (76,9%); los artículos clasificados como de Intervención fueron los más publicados (51,3%); el tema Formación fue el que tuvo mayor incidencia (48,7%); en cuanto al tipo de investigación, los Estudios de Caso fueron predominantes (41%); los análisis Cualitativos son ampliamente más utilizados (89,8%); Entrevistas (25,6%) y Cuestionarios (23,1%) fueron los Instrumentos más empleados. Se concluye que hubo aumento en la producción del conocimiento sobre esa temática en los últimos años, sin embargo, se resalta la importancia de fortalecer las producciones con el objetivo de acceder a periódicos mejor clasificados en el sistema de evaluación

Tem por objetivo compreender como se constitui o debate no campo científico brasileiro sobre avaliação do processo ensino-aprendizagem em periódicos da área publicados entre 1932 e 2014. Revisa 14 periódicos da área e encontra 56 artigos. Com base em indicadores bibliométricos, estabelece três eixos de análise: distribuição dos artigos por ano de publicação; por periódico; por procedência autoral; por autor. Os resultados apontam para um aumento na produção sobre o tema nos últimos quatro anos, em comparação com a década anterior, entretanto, ainda há lacunas com referência a textos que abordem o ensino infantil e o ensino médio


This study looks into the debate in Brazil's science field about assessment of teaching and learning in Physical Education journals published between 1932 and 2014. It reviewed 14 journals and found 56 articles. Based on bibliometric indicators, it established three lines of analysis: distribution of the articles according to year of publication; journal; author's place of work; authors. The results point to an increase in production on the topic in the last four years compared to the previous decade. However, there are still gaps in terms of texts addressing childhood education and secondary education


Busca comprender cómo se constituye el debate en el campo científico brasileño sobre la evaluación del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en periódicos del área publicados entre 1932 y 2014. Revisa 14 periódicos de ese campo y encuentra 56 artículos. Sobre la base de indicadores bibliométricos, establece tres ejes de análisis: distribución de los artículos por año de publicación; por periódico; por origen autoral; por autor. Los resultados indican un aumento de la producción sobre el tema en los últimos cuatro años en comparación con la década anterior. Sin embargo, todavía existen lagunas referentes a textos que aborden la educación infantil y la escuela secundaria

ABSTRACT

Abstract: This study conducted a bibliometric analysis of Sport Sciences' scientific production published in Chile until 2014 in order to present its productivity and collaboration patterns. Articles and reviews' bibliographic information, authors' affiliation and country, decade, subject and research area were recorded and analysed. In summary, Sport Sciences production has progressively increased from the 1910s onwards, depending on the socio-historical events that happened in Chile. During the 21st century, a process of consolidation has started as a result of the amount of authors, journals, countries, research areas and subjects studied, therefore strengthening collaboration. Resumo: O objetivo deste estudo foi desenvolver uma análise bibliométrica da produção científica em Ciências do Desporto publicada no Chile até 2014 para apresentar a sua produtividade e colaboração. O estudo registra e analisa a informação bibliográfica, afiliação institucional, país, década, disciplina e área de artigos e resenhas. Em suma, a produção de Ciências do Esporte tem aumentado constantemente desde a década de 1910 em diante, dependendo dos acontecimentos sócio-históricos no Chile. Durante o século XXI, começou um processo de consolidação em resposta ao número de autores, revistas, países, áreas de pesquisa e disciplinas estudadas, e a colaboração tem sido reforçada. (AU)


Resumen: El objetivo de este estudio fue desarrollar un análisis bibliométrico de la producción científica en Ciencias del Deporte publicada en Chile hasta 2014, para presentar su productividad y colaboración. El estudio registra y analiza la información bibliográfica, la afiliación institucional, país, década, disciplina y área de artículos y reseñas. En resumen, la producción de Ciencias del Deporte ha aumentado constantemente desde la década de 1910 en adelante, dependiendo de los acontecimientos socio-históricos en Chile. En el siglo XXI, ha comenzado un proceso de consolidación atendiendo a la cantidad de autores, revistas, países, áreas de investigación y disciplinas estudiadas y la colaboración se ha reforzado. ABSTRACT

After much investigative work,it has been found that the extracurricular scientific and technological activities in the medical undergraduates today has one phenomenon that its organizational forms and its contents haven't fully met the needs of the students. The main factors are as follows:leaders attaching little importance to it,imperfect management system,shortage of the necessary condition,etc. The author puts forward such four measures about improving its organization and management as improving the organizational and managerial rules,establishing the satisfactory organizational structure,building the medical undergraduates'groups for scientific research and raising scientific research funds in many ways.
